You are here > Great Music

Coming Soon…

In the coming months you can watch here as we add some really great music that we've discovered that we think you should listen to and consider for your next project.  We'll continue to devlop this area of the website and will provide you with a music library to consider as well as our "feature song" of the week.

Please feel free to provide feedback on what you find here and let us know if you'd like us to keep our eyes open for any specific kind of music.  We're sent music all the time so we'll keep your requests in mind as we review the music we receive.

BMI Music Played Here

Here’s some great music for you to listen to and consider for your next project.  Almost all of these songs are available for purchase through either Rhapsody or iTunes.  But if you can't find one of the songs listed, just send us an email and we can tell you where to find the CD.  (These files should play automatically in your default music player.)

The Album Hollywood's Greatest Hits: Classic Music from the Movies is a fantastic 2-disc set containing some incredible movie music all performed by the Prague Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra.  We think the entire album is great and would recommend that you go to either Rhapsody or iTunes and listen to the album.  But...some of our favorite songs are:

Main Title to Alexander the Great by Mario Nascimbene

The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3 – Main Title by David Shire

**(this movie is currently being re-made starring Denzel Washington & John Travolta and is scheduled for release in 2009)

They Call Me Mr. Tibbs – Main Title by Quincy Jones

Main Title from Tom Jones by John Addison (kind of “comedic” – lots of runs)

Uketalia from After The Fox by Burt Bacharach (this is a fun muted trumpet solo piece)

Red River Suite by Dimitri Tiomkin (reminiscent of the TV show Bonanza – listen to it at 1’00”)
